Join us for a free screening of Then Or Now, a heartfelt dance performance created by renowned choreographer William Tuckett for Ballet Black. Inspired by the powerful poetry of Adrienne Rich, this work intertwines dance, music, and spoken word to explore themes of belonging, love, and the weight of our choices in times of change.

With stunning lighting, evocative costumes, and a rich soundscape featuring poetry recordings, this performance promises to be moving and thought-provoking for all, no dance knowledge required.

Come and discover how words, movement, and music connect us in unexpected and beautiful ways.

As part of their project Desire Lines, you are invited to join Charlie, Lily and the rest of the Meta4 team to watch inspiring dance films.

The film screenings are organised and hosted by Meta4 Dance and are free to attend. A chance to grab a drink, watch the film and also hear a talk with an industry expert, either a Northumbrian artist or Director of a theatre in the region, to discuss more about the dance film and their work.

After the screening you’re also welcome to stick around and chat about what you’ve seen with Meta4 Dance.
