Berwick cultural partners have worked together to create a new Berwick Arts Award Discover Trail booklet, to support teachers and pupils to achieve their Arts Award Discover. The booklet can be used to collate pupil’s Arts Award evidence and has been beautifully illustrated by Berwick illustrator Katie Chappell.
The booklets have been designed for schools to use in conjunction with the six Berwick Arts Award Supporter organisations involved which include The Maltings (Berwick) Trust, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival, Berwick Museum & Art Gallery, Berwick Record Office and Berwick Library & Tourist Information Centre.
Arts Award Discover is an introductory award that inspires young people to grow their arts and leadership talents and is aimed at 5-11 year olds. There is a website for the Berwick Arts Award Discover Trail complete with Teachers Notes to support you using the booklets with links to the Arts Award Supporter websites.
