Maltings can announce today that our Eastern Lane venue will be open with a programme of theatre, comedy, dance and comedy events, cinema, visual arts exhibitions and youth theatre activities into Spring 2025.

Programme highlights on sale from 15 May include An Evening with Michael Palin (in partnership with Berwick Literary Festival) on 9 August, the return of The HandleBards on 3 September, Lindisfarne on 15 February 2025 and for the festive season, the Maltings pantomime.

It comes as the Maltings and Northumberland County Council continue to work on designs to transform the venue. More details on the plans, including public engagement, are expected over the summer.
